"We booked our wedding date with The Farmhouse KC prior to it being completely finished. Shelby shared her vision for her venue and we fell in love. Everything about the Farmhouse KC was perfect when we did a tour of it completed back in May 2020. Throughout the planning process Shelby was so very helpful and quick to respond to any of our questions. The Farmhouse KC is just an all around great venue. We toured almost 30 venues in our search and The Farmhouse KC was the only venue to check all of our boxes. Outdoor AND Indoor Ceremony location, reasonable bar packages, open catering, getting ready spot for both the women and the men (HUGE!!!), outdoor space for yard games during reception, plenty of parking and great price. My husband and I are forever grateful that the Farmhouse KC was available to host our wedding. We made so many memories that we will cherish forever there!!! Thank you Shelby and team!"

"My husband and I put our deposit down site unseen about a year before our wedding actually happened. Maybe longer can’t really remember, but anyways, best thing that I ever decided. This was such an amazing wedding venue. We don’t have one complaint about it! Everyone loved it so much. Everyone had so much fun, some people had no idea it existed and absolutely just loved the place. It was the smoothest night ever! Shelby is amazing. Their bartenders were awesome!! "Wow, where to begin. This venue was everything we dreamt of and so much more. When my wife was wanting to plan her dream wedding and wanted to do the boho theme we began looking at venues and nothing came close to Farmhouse KC. From the champagne wall, to the immaculate chandelier, bridal suite, unbelievable groom cottage, and surreal wooded back drop for the ceremony there was nothing we didn’t love about the venue. Following booking our wedding there, we received nothing but amazing communication and prompt responses to all the many questions that come up when planning your big day. In the weeks leading up to the wedding the attentiveness and attention to detail from Shelby and Courtney even more eased our nerves and it was their referral of the Perfect Touch day of coordinators that truly made this the best experience and wedding day my bride and I could have dreamt up. There are no words to articulate our gratitude to this venue and it’s owners and our appreciation for making our wedding day, THE BEST DAY of our lives!"

"This Venue is hands down the perfect place for a wedding! Shelby and Courtney went above and beyond helping me with any questions I had. Their Preferred Vendors blew me away, too! I loved being able to have my ceremony, reception, and all our pictures all at one place! The Farmhouse Venue has so many places for indoor and outdoor picture options as well. It was so much more relaxing to be able to have everything onsite. Our first dance under the stunning chandelier with the backlights made for one of my favorite pictures!
The Bridal Suite and Grooms Cottage were stunning! The guys loved being able to play pool and watch multiple football games on the T.V.s. The complimentary drinks waiting in our suites was the perfect touch to start off our Big Day.
I would recommend to all my friends, family, and clients to have their Wedding or any event at The Farmhouse KC. We had the BEST experience ever!"
"Shelby and her team were so great for our wedding at the Farmhouse KC! They were very accommodating and relaxed the whole way through - I've been a part of weddings where the venue owners were so stringent and honestly rude. We really appreciated her whole team helping our day come together! The site has so many fun things that you can customize for your special day. The location is also super convenient for out-of-town guests as there's plenty of hotels nearby!

"The Farmhouse KC Event Venue was just perfect for everything that Kyle and I were looking for! We had the ceremony outside on the patio (in March - risky! but it turned out beautiful!) and used the silo bar outside as well as the indoor bar for cocktail hour. Our reception inside was amazing and Shelby and Courtney were so on top of everything! We also rented the cottage for the day which is definitely worth the money. The guys got ready over there and some of the kids would go over and play pool! The bridal suite was spacious and clean and had everything we needed to get ready. All of our guests loved the venue - and the bar - we also had the garage doors open with the heaters on the side patio! Having their own parking lot was great and made it really easy for guests. I would give it 100 out of 5 stars, we had a lovely wedding day and The Farmhouse really made it happen!"
"Our wedding was SIMPLY PERFECT! The Farmhouse did a wonderful job! It was the first venue we looked at, and we felt we compared every other option to them. They were so accommodating and informative, and have a beautiful property. We loved using the groom's cottage for all the boys to hang out in, and the patio was great for cocktail hour and the reception! Everything was AMAZING. Highly recommend."
